    Asshole plant with yellow spots

Shit that Miracle Grow on top of being crap fertilizer is also not the right proportions of nutes for your tender babies. The N is relatively way too high and you are going to (if you don't see it already) see that new growth is softer than it shoud be, dark green, and susceptible to pests/damage.
That being said, and the pics, it looks like you have a salt buildup. Either way, time to flush. I can;t believe that it looked fine one day and crap the next... I'll betcha that last week you didn't notice pale banding between the veins on the older leaves.
Did you know it IS possible to scrape together a grow from cheap walmart fertilizer sources if you have time to dick around with it?
In spring they will have blood meal and bone meal on the shelves. Plus they sell Schultz specialty fertilizers like cactus, orchid, bloom plus, etc. that have micronutes in them but honestly in the end you are better off squeezing $15 out of the ol man and going for some pure blend pro grow organic.
If you go the cheap route, I'd suggest buying the BOG 'Bonanza of Green' book where he gives his walmart -based dirt recipe, lol... sam's choice dirt, bone meal, and blood meal in varying proportions for different life stages. Or you can go see if his stuff is over on ICMag.

I'll check ICMag. That's a good resource for a lot of things I've noticed.

Okay, well I've decided to go 12/12 anyway. Can you recommend a bloom fert? See, if this is a decent enough experiment, he'll come up off the money for the next go-round. Right now he's leery. He feels like he's being double dipped, cause he's still buying weed, and shelling out for a grow op on top of it. He's never been this miserly before. I think it's cause he had to borrow against his retirement to put 5% down on the house.

Seriously, my first reaction is that your plant is over watered. Make sure the soil dries out occasionally. I have had this problem in the past with really dense dirt. Make sure you use plenty of perlite, or light warrior. Good luck!:hippy:

Is bloom fert with 15-30-15 too high in N?

That is what I have been using but at 1/2 strength...my opinion? It will get you there, but is NOT optimal....Bree

Ms Jeans, as long as you're using fresh, top quality potting soil there should be no mineral definceincies and I have yet to see a reliable test for us commoners to test for such probs, unless you have a connection with the local agriculture engineer. I have to agree with Zandor here and call it a PH problem. Lack of micro nutes and minerals just don't cause such problems in every day life , especially in a plant only a few months old from birth to harvest. If those were mine and I saw such damage I'd invest $22 in a Brita Water Filter. It's a miracle tool made for us that changes bad tap water into a wonderful elixer of life!
