You are missing the point totally. The DEA raided those places since a large amount of the "paitents" that purchase from those clinics are recreational users with no medical problems that could be treated by THC. Don't even act like you don't know. I know so many kids who got clinic passes just like the article described, by doctors who wrote off bullshit. So basically those clinics deal drugs (especially since a lot of that clinic weed ends up being traded on the street).

Very legitmate reasons for a raid. Wake up. Medical marijuana should be for the paitents who need it. Assholes who illegitimately got passes are now crossing into the territory of drug dealing and it's THEM who caused this. Blame the people who illegitimately obtained passes. They're fucking it up for the real paitents.

But yea, if these clinics want to stay open they need to pay more attention to whom they are selling it to, they get more business by selling to people who dont have med cards. So they should be shut down for the illegal distribution of pot, u may disagree, but the clinics are getting what they deserve, and the real patients suffer. I would open up a legit shop and keep it legit, they know the gov. watches them like a HAWK, if they did by law what they were supposed to, they would be still open today, sorry to the ppl who actually need the pot.

for practically your first post that is not a good way to get known here. some people depend on the medical cannabis and those who don't need it but get it are possibly putting someone's life at risk. do you understand people are using this to control cancer and other mental illnesses, most likely not since the tone/attitude in your voice makes you sound like a 13 or 14, 15 year old at best. the DEA did this because of the fact that the cannabis wasn't going strictly to med. patients, it was going to recreational users who use it to just get high. and he didn't say he's the only one who should get to get his "greedy hands" on good cannabis. if you want good cannabis, grow your own and save the "good" stuff for the med. users. time to grow up kid, we aren't in elementary school anymore :S4:

Excellent, we aren't in elementary school anymore. Thus, you realize that this issue is far more than simply a question of medicinal use or not. Marijuana prohibition boils down to individual sovereignty over one's body. The issue is now convoluted because the only toe-hold the re-legalization movement has consistently been able to grab is through medicinal marijuana. I am fully aware and sympathetic to those who need to use cannabis hemp in order to alleviate symptoms and treat themselves; however, there is absolutely no shortage of medicinal dispensaries from which they may obtain their medication. Much like a weed itself, medicinal dispensaries are cropping up all over California.

Hatred and anger is the absolutely worst way we can relate to one another. Perhaps the method by which the busted dispensaries were less-than thorough enough, which led them to being targeted by LEO. Certainly it is a free man's right to do what he likes with his body, and hence nobody is "ruining" it for anybody else.

Realize what is happening, and communicate to find how we may adapt and transcend this problem. No need to argue. Evolve.

That's the DEA's job, close the legal state authorized stores, send the people back to the criminals selling marijuana,dope, speed everything...so they can have their jobs back, rather than having to sit back and see American citizens have safe access.

I am one of those legel patients and depend on the store for 90% of my weed.
It is all about the regulation and taxation. How can the governmet tax and regulate what we grow in our own homes? They can't and that is why it is illegal unlike tobacco which is seasonal and easily taxed and regulated. {But causes cancer}

yet think about how much money is made from cancer..really think about it. Medications, chemotherapy, specialist visits, doctors, etc..everything associated with it..they can make so much effing money.

Then think about how much cancer, disease, and death is associated with marijuana. NONE. Our government is greedy, and corrupt as fuck. Sad and very true. If they were concerned for our well being, cigarette companies wouldn't be increasing the nicotine content in cigarettes to make them more addictive. Nor would we disallowed from smoking marijuana while use and our children be allowed to inhale deadly, radioactive tobacco smoke.

I found out their are more cannabis clubs then Mcdonalds, Wendys, and Burger King combined in LA alone. So if they shut down a dozen or so a month how long will it take for them to shut down completely? And who is stopping the people of california form opening a couple dozen or so new Cannabis clubs a month? People do it for bars/clubs all the time, a liquer estsablishment gets shut down on Friday and by saturday night their is a new name on the sign new owner and bussiness goes on like usual. We cant let them win because they think were weak and devided. We cant fight back with violance but we can fight back with the people speaking and doing what we know is right. as my old boss/roommate who penned prop 215 said. "All cannabis use is medicinal". Those "recreational" users who just want to get high that people talk about are getting high for a reason probably to relive stress and anxiety which are both medical issues...

But what will eventually happen is that "clinics/clulbs/coops" will just go underground and be delivery services. Growers should do that out here instead of just selling to the clubs to then rip off the patients come on todayhere in Sac I just got an 1/8th of Pot of Gold for $65... what a fricken rip off.

But alas the DEA will never win. Weed is meant to be free and is too easy to grow to be stopped. They'd have a better chance at stopping cocaine and meth than cannabis.
