Religion is brainwashing. Religion has destroyed the relationship between me and my brother. Before he met his wife, we could joke around, we smoked weed together, we hung out, but more and more he fell deeper into the brainwashing camp of religion. Now when I play my music around him, it's evil, when I play my guitar low end with distortion, that's evil, TV is evil, smoking pot is evil, being gay is evil, etc...

I can't even have a discussion with him without God coming into play. I hate it, hate all of it. He seriously thinks that if a gay couple raised a child, it would grow up to be crazy or a serial killer, those were his exact words. He's brainwashed.

My mother grew up in a Catholic household. She was adopted along with her brother, yet her father got drunk and beat the shit out of them. He would lock them in a closet, beat them with his belts, while their mother stood back and watched. He cheated on his wife (my grandma) with prositutes, and even gave his adopted son an STD, that he got from dirty hookers.

Religion can kiss my ass. I wish I could have nailed jesus up on the cross myself, because he would have got it through the eyes.
