This is exactly the problem. Religious believe has some special status and no one can criticize it. I believe it is important that atheists dont give religion this undeserved status.

On the bright side, religion is dying in first world countries. YEs most people are not atheists and I believe the majority in canada call them selves christians. But very very few really believe or act christian. Because of this there children will not be "brainwashed" and will be less religious and so on.
Ideally I guess this started happening when critical thinking became prevalent (he he)
