samwhore, i respect your stance if you were to be in this situation, and a huge part of me would love to react like that as it would make me "feel better" or "justified."

below is an extract from a famous quote on love/friendship... it is a personal inspiration of mine to live this type of love and be this type of friend in this world that desperately needs it. everyone is so egocentric and self-preserving that it is a cut-throat, dog-eat-dog world that is not very forgiving or compassionate of mistakes... i want to live in a different world that is forgiving and compassionate. when i screw up (which i do like everyone else) i would prefer to be shown grace instead of harshness and an "i told you so" mentality. i can't make the world like this though. the only person in this world that i have control over is me. so i made a decision to start making this world the way i want it by changing myself first. hopefully others around me will follow or at least i will find others who believe and live similarly.

anyway, not sure if you care to know all of that, but it was in line with this thread so i just blabbed it.
