Not to be a dick, but smoking bud isn't that much smarter... and someone had to be "the first guy" to burn this shit and breathe in all the smoke..

Don't get me wrong, I agree with you.. I just think it's kinda stupid to call someone stupid, over doing something we all know is stupid in some way (risking jail, for instance..)

True Mello, but the odds of someone OD'ing on pills are infinitely higher than smoking ganj. Especially if one had know idea what they were doing.

It may not be smarter, by your reasoning, however it's safe to say that it is way safer(health-wise) to smoke bud than it is to pop pills.

the ingredient people are looking for in cough medicines is dextromethorphan....and people take it in it's pure powder stage to get high....there are scientific studies on the adverse affects of dex on the body....like i said read around....another thing google up "The Third Platuea" website....that has lots of useful information on it

~sigh~ some people, just don't seem to get the fact, that just because it's in a cough medicine doesn't mean it isn't a drug. it's really just a matter of chance, coke was used in medicines long ago, and acid i believe was being researched for it's posibility of medical benifits (tho i doubt it's actually documented as so) they became two of the major drugs to "abuse" simply by a matter of chance, if dex was found to be "innadequate" by the people who regulate human consumption of everythign from food to drugs, and was basicly cast away, then found by someone else, and became popular (as it already is) would you still feel the same, knowing that it was never used in an "over the counter" medicine? personally i don't like dex by it's self, the only way it was good to me was in tripple c's, and since i don't want to gamble with my life, i stay away from it all. but it doesn't mean that i think "it's an over the counter drug, anyone doing it is desperate and stupid" i know the power it holds, and while not as strong as most convential illegal street drugs, is still quite powerful.
