That is a great analogy. However, this thread may be a similar effect to what you are asking http://boards.cannabis.com/recreatio...-question.html

    Nothing.

Cannabis has a avaping temp. of 220degC, and microwaves are deisnged to super heat food in a short amount of time. Controlling the temp. would be hard to do, and once it gets vaped, the cannabis is next to useless.

Even if you cooked it at 150degC, what do expect would happen? Nothing. DUH!

I don't know much about microwaving but I know it's a waste lol. My blunts are just fine without them so I don't see the point of trying it unless I'm just bored one day.

well... the microwave works by "shaking" the water molecules. as heat is simply the movement of the molecules, as more they shake, more hot the thing is. BUT, water evaporates at 100oC. after all the water evaporates, there is nothing left for the microwaves "shake" (as it only shakes the water molecules), so the microwave simply can not reach temperatures much higher than it.

it most definatly doesnt make it more potent. IF anything i'ts less potent as you've vaped some of the THC away.

I wouldn't trust the microwave, but you could try the oven.

someone showed me about this microwave blunt thing before. ive tried it, its so different on every microwave though. you need to zap it for like minimal seconds. cause one second to long and it can explode. i find about 3-4 seconds then check it, its usually nice and dry by then. but i still preer the ol lighter technique or jus let it sit for 20 mins air dry is nice
