Well from 10g's of cannabis, I got 2g's of pressed hash. I just used a high quality strain, that's all. The more visable trichs you can see on the buds, the more kif you will get. I usually only make hash from heavily resinated buds.

What I first did is I dried out the cannabis, then I placed the dried cannabis in a baggie, and put it in the deep freeze for about 30 minutes. If you cool the cannabis, that loosens the trichs from buds. You don't have to cool it if you don't want to, it's optional. Then I took the buds out, and used a coffee grinder, the same as yours pretty much, and I busted it up pretty fine.

What I was left with was trichs caked to the sides of my grinder, so I clean out the lid of the grinder and such, then I shake the kif from the cannabis. That requires some silk screening and a shaker. Mine is homemade, and I have pictures of it on the guide.

Although that guide I posed, the kif I cleaned from the grinder got a little leaf matter in there, and it looks a little greenish. That's because I busted up the cannabis too fine, and leaf matter got mixed in and caught on the sides of the grinder.

To make the purest kif possible, just shake the kif from leaf matter using the silk screen method. That ensures no green leaf matter gets through.

But I'm not that picky you see. A little green is okay and is still mighty potent. :S5:
