you are so right plants can be replaced.......BUT when 2 people are supposed to be on the same level and they BOTH figure they can rely on 1 another... Now I do not know if i can.... We had watered them together quite a few times, and they seen how maybe over too protective you could say I was... i mean i check my PH the day i mix it and then the second i am about to dump into my watering bottle.... and I "thought" that they were as persistent as I was since they too checked it everytime....but the 1 time I wasnt there this happens it's, so wierd like these bottles were so not in a spot that were like right there to use.... They were bright orange bottles and then they just dumped them in not CARING or THINKING even....

i feel you dude, I don't let my roomie even touch the nutes cuz I know he wouldn't show the care and diligence. Now, i let him watch them grow. But shit what can a fella do when he can't do it himself. I am familiar with ph down, and that is some strong shit. I've had hella huge fight, almost blows over this shit with my roomie/best friend, its so LAME, we lived in the house together, but woudn't talk or anything, its really not worth it. I feel you on the not THINKING part. Maybe, next time, if there is one, write out some instructions. Thats what I am gonna do if i ever go on vac or out of town.

Best of luck with those plants dude. after the good flush, tomorrow they should look a LOT better than they do now.

Is your friend...perhaps...smoking rocks? :what: Hehe...just kidding. Well, I know that a few drops of that sh*t will bring the pH way down on just a few gallons, so a 4 litre jug?!?!

Anyway, like everyone's saying, it's not worth losing the friendship...it's more of a learning experience.

Leave instructions and have them CALL your cell when they are mixing the nutes so you can walk them thru it...for next time.

If it were me...I'd turn off the lights...and flush them by candlelight...but that's just me.

    Good luck, bro.

First I have a fascinating feeling that your friend will never make this same mistake again. So you may want to ease up a little

Second...I could be completely wrong but isn't it better that they were a few hours in soil rather than hydro with a crappy ph? Like a slower absorption rate or something? I had some hydro plants that went overnight with a really low ph (like 3.8 or something) and they came back fine with some good nursing care. Good luck!

you are right i should have left instructions......"IF" we had not gone over 1000 times, and "IF" they were even supposed to mix the water.... All they had to do was dump the water from a 20 ltr jug to the 4 litre botlle we use, then water... no mixing, not even any thinking really i mean it should have been too easy....and just my luck im on night shift all week and when im home the light is off.... So I take it "not" to change the lighting obviously to get in there b4 work?? should i be flushing them constantly or will they get overwatered???
