PLEASE HUGE MISTAKE HAPPENED!!!

the 1 night my partner was to take carer of feeding our plants they went ahead and dumped strait PH up into all our plants even though the water and food was already mixed and waiting in the SAME JUG WE ALWAYS USE!!!! so now of course they are like FUCKED UP....do i flush these babies as fast as i can???? do i use more ph down??? wow im so lost.....anyone elses have 1/2 and idea??? itll be 1/2 more of an idea than i have... PLEASE and THANK YOU

I would definitly flush that suka well. And then check the Ph runoff and see where your at.

dude its actually 22 not just the 1....so should i not worry about overwatering them now?? obviously not 1/2 my problem...should i be ph up all the water i add?? AND I WAS WRONG IT WAS PH DOWN NOT PH UP ADDED!!!

Wow, dude...this thread made me stop browsing and reading and actually log on...that's not good.

Well, first of all, I'm sure you know that your partner is a complete IDIOT...and I don't call people that very often (not on forums, at least).

Anyway, after that stupid acid trip, those plants are going to be pretty sad.

Ok, how long after he did he let them sit in it until you found out or whatever? Are they in soil? I sure hope not...

Either way, if you want to save them, flush the hell out of them. Flush flush and more flush. You can pH UP the water you are flushing with to try to balance out the pH. Sucks that you'd have to do 22 plants, but...well, make his dumbass do it.

Next time...make your mix (nutes) and then leave them with him premixed with no access to any of the other chemicals. Damn, man...sorry.

it was about 7 hrs since the time all the shit water was added till i got home.... and of course now my light goes off, but i kept it going till i flushed them completely with clean water... FUCK I am so mad at myself it is not even funny... they are SO waterlogged now and the PH is still about 5 something....still comming up quite red in my PH tester when i want it almost yellow... Fuck sorry for all the F Bombs but WOW.... I thought i had picked a smart girl but i am so second guessing her even... From day 1 I stressed ow important it was to test every drop added to them but i guess NEVER LET ANYONE DO YOUR WORK.... NO ONE CAN DO ANYTHING AS GOOD AS YOURSELF.... the reason why Ieven had her water for me was that i get off with only 2 hrs till my light goes out and i figured we should water when the light goes on not just before it goes out.... FUCK I should have watered them myself 1 minute before the light when out I would have SAVED MY PRINCESS'..
Now only time will ell I guess...........

another thing you can do it fill a tub with water right up to the pots edge and let them sit there for an hour, sorry man thats really sucks.

it will be ok.. You will get some burnig on your leaves.. but you will recover... Don't get to upset at your friend.. it is never worth getting upset ... the grow is suppose to bring you happyness.. make sure it does..

I water with a solution that has a pH of at least 8.0... When I have grown in MG soil, which has a pH of 5.0 -5.5 I always water with 8.0 (for teh first 4 weeks) and the plants turn out OK..

Your biggest problem will not bethe LOW pH but rather the massive fluxuation.. plants don't like the sudden shift...

fuck i cant even sleep now im so pissed.... light of course is off too...this is TORTURE...what'd be worse...letting them sit in shit water?? or turning the light on and getting back to flushing??? i am in day 28 bud now.... but is letting them sit in this state for 12 hours worse than getting their "soil" back to 6.5???
