I've been growing for years and years too.

These CFL's are better than you'd expect. I mean, yeah, it's not going to be the yeild you'd get from a HPS but it'll yeild a good amount.

Blue ones -There fine, no problems there, nothing to worry about.

Red ones will do the job fine, but like i said, the yeild will drop slightly [But NOT as much as people would think.]

And obviously, the more watts [lumens], the better the yeild.

I'd say get em, and give it ago. If the yeild isnt as much as you'd like maybe think about a low wattage HPS to add to the red spec CFL's. Like a 150 watter. It might just push up yeild that little bit more.
