    LOL a written essay

Thats right kill-em with knowlage! The more and more benificial facts surface the more cogs will be thrown into the "above the influence" machine.
dark0ne Reviewed by dark0ne on . Above the Influence Why do these commercials ALWAY target Cannabis. A harmless naturally grown Herb. Why never target drugs that really change your personality and breed you of your soul and health. Like Meth, cocaine, heroin ect.. I think a lot of people fail to take full advantage of the plants beneficial effects. Euphoria can be very beneficial for humans. Euphoria is Extremely underrated. Every human can benefit from Euphoria. But these commercials are holding back some people I believe because of the Rating: 5

from time to time i will ask people their views on MJ prohibition and 90% of the time the response from normal(?), upstanding, non pot smoking individuals is "well, it's illegal so you shouldn't do it". no one has been fooled by the anti-drug rhetoric for years, they just follow the law. even law enforcement knows that the so-called dangers of MJ are illusory; they just enforce the laws, they don't make them.

the continuation of MJ prohibition is a matter of control and saving face, nothing more. government isn't concerned with our health, they aren't worried about the insights gleaned from substance use, they aren't even concerned about the impact legalization would have on the pharmaceuticals industry; they just want to keep the population on the leash.

you can't make any difference by telling them what they already know. next time you see one of those "above the influence" commercials remember that no one over the age of 7 believes this shit and this is just the government's way of sustaining the illusion that they know what they're doing. the knowledge you should be killing them with is that we know what they are up to, we are intelligent, we are organized and we are armed.

consider this an act of sedition if you wish, but is revolution so wrong when those in power refuse to acknowledge the desires and needs of those who gave them that power? the u.s. was founded for exactly those reasons. or have you conveniently forgotten that point?

Why are you complaining? Above the Influence commercials are the best on TV. Being stoned and watching them is fucking hillarious.

I am completely excited right now that someone else thinks these commercials are such a fucking joke and target nothing thats harmful. How about above the influence commercials that target fat people and tell them how bad fast food is...it's infinitely worse on you than marijuana.

It almost feels like they're just sticking with the same policy just because its been in place for a while and are just too god damn lazy to change it. Not to mention all the stupid god damn propoganda everybody gets forcefed. I remember in middle school and shit I got fed that stuff and took it to heart. I thought, "Oh I am never trying that shit." Then one day I say what the hell and here I am. The people the commercials target are just people that don't know what else to think and have not seen any other info that points to anything besides what the government says. Alcohol of course is worse than marijuana its just the fact that alcohol has been "domesticated" in a sense and marijuana has not been broadly "domesticated" like alcohol. So of course this shit is going to keep circulating until we legalize it in one state. Then once its legalized in one state its gonna start like a brushfire. If its legalized it will arouse curiousity amoung all the brainwashed people. Since the mentality lingers amoung the public that if its legal its alright. Otherwards until then the government isn't going to up and say, "We're sorry for being ignorant dickheads, smoke all you want." I mean it was close in colorado in a sense. 40% of the people voting said yes for legalization, 60% said no. I think that next time another legalization bill rolls around during the next elections we might have a chance. Anyway thats the end of my rant. BTW anyone ever notice that joint at the end of the slomming commerical? Shittiest joint ever:S2:

Fuck yes. I love the realllly old school commercials from the black and white TV era. Like one where the guy smokes weed than his eyes get huge and he smiles real big and laughs wickedly as he beats his wife to death. Classic.

Well guys, I have to tell you my story. It all started with cannabis.

Last week, my friends got me to smoke weed.

So then obviously this week I dropped out of high school, sat on my friend's couch for 12 hours, then stuck leeches on my dick, ran over little girls, and got stitches when I tried to outrun a ferocious dog.

Don't you hate it when you smoke a joint and then you melt into a flat, blob-like creature? That pisses me off so much. Next time some random guy on the streets offers to get you high like they always do, just say "No thanks, I enjoy having a skeleton inside me."
