I think this is a good place for the question, Princess. Especially considering how upsetting period talk seems to be to some of the guys. I've never understood that. We don't get grossed out about ejaculations.

Remember, babe, I'm just a first year med student. I know next to nothing yet about pregnancy physiology, PCOS, or pharmacology. I'll have the classes about embryology, disease pathology and pharmacology in school next year. I can call my friend who's an ob-gyn tomorrow and ask her about this if she's accessible. Seems to me entirely possible that you could be pregnant, and I know people can still have periods in those early months. But I don't really know how the prometrium factors into that. And somehow I thought prometrium wasn't really indicated for people trying to get pregnant, but like I said, this isn't an area I'm even remotely "booked up" in yet.

I hope you are pregnant, and I know you do, too! Can you get one of those early detection tests and go on and check? There's that new one in the market that's supposed to be super-sensitive. Oh my gosh, I have my fingers crossed for you. I'll try and call Deborah tomorrow and ask her. And try and call your own doctor or his/her nurse and ask. Anyone who works in an ob-gyn office will know better than I do. Let me know what you find out, and I will too if Deborah calls me back!
