As some of y'all know, I was down and out for several days in the hospital until yesterday. While I was gone, a neighbor lady down the street who always has her eyes on other people's husbands made two trips down, once to bring dinner to my husband and once just to "see how he's doing and make sure he's holding up OK" and bring him some golf balls she said her husband left behind but which I feel certain she went out and bought so she'd have Rating: 5

She'll be out of this neighborhood soon enough. Our next-door neighbor just called for Bird and mentioned that she heard Charlene's husband has filed for divorce. THey're going to have to sell that house. Charlene's history.

I'm not a married woman or a steady girlfriend, but Bird, I am the person who can reassure you you have nothing to worry about. I think you know htat. Charlene is "on the take." Every manwho spends even 45 seconds around her knows she's a pit viper. It makes my blood run cold to remember some of the things we heard her say to Bert before he left her. She's scary. She's a cow. She has sun damage. She paints herself like a streetwalker. She drinks too much. And she can't cook worth a damn. She also doesn't have an ounce of your class, manners, beauty, or gentility. If either of you think I would ever follow my johnson in that direction, you both need your heads examined. I'm not as clueless as you think when it comes to spotting con women.

I love you. That's why I've been married to you for almost 24 years. God willing, we'll have another 40 or 50 more. Try not to let Charlene worry you. She doesn't worry me.
