    bonbon please help, more problems

The other day I asked about the rock wool cubes and removing the plastic around them. My plants are doing pretty good. The leaves are really green but they are drooping a little. I noticed that the roots seem to be coming out of the top of the rock wool. They ar big enough now that the roots should show through the bottom of the basket, but I don't see them. Should I take the plastic off now so that the roots can grow? Help what should I do. My plants are only about four inches now and I don't want to lose them. Thanks for your help. Willow

i assume that you're using net pots,if they're starter cubes, take off the wrap and surround the cubes with lava rock or hydroton,if they're the larger blocks, remove the wrap and stick the whole block in the pot, they might still be getting overwatered, cut back on the spray cycles or times a bit more till the wilting lets up,you can fill the top of blocks and gaps on the sides over with lava rock so the roots wont be exposed to light or air....bonbon
