A Get Well Card for Birdie
Skink, this is terribly sweet, but most of y'all truly already did me a card with the Birdgirl73 thread about my being sick in the first place. I mean that. I fear there are folks around here who are at risk of becoming sick themselves as a result of this topic.
Consider me well already. . . . OK?\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"

A Get Well Card for Birdie
Well, I'm not going back in the hospital anytime soon. That's well enough in my book. The unfortunate fact is I'm going to be taking medicine to fight this endocarditis for the next two months and working to gain strength back that whole time. That's actually why I prefer the theme of the regular topics of these boards. They keep me from brooding/focusing on this heart stuff and help me feel more like normal.

I know you do. But I'm far too mean for anything to happen to me. Yeah, do me a favor and focus on the everyday normal stuff. And if I get sicker or in danger, I promise I'll let you know. Thanks for caring so much! Right now, the normal stuff makes me feel better, more reassured.
