He's never smoked it and he doesn’t plan to, but he’s interested in eating weed brownies. Anyway, according to some website he found, Columbian weed is better than homegrown. I told him that home grown is better but he wants proof. Obviously, many of the people that are speaking negatively about "Columbian" have never had any. We used to get sticky red and gold buds from Columbia that had very high THC levels. There is NO WAY that this stuff was similar to crappy Jamaican, as one person suggested. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any Columbian for well over 20 years.

Thai is grown outdoors, and is incredible - but only a few people can get the real thing, and pay enormous amounts when it's available.

There's many other outdoor varieties that are as good, or better, than most any indoor grown types. Black Gungi was one of them. Many Hawaiian types are also very, very good.

Actually my friend from Mexico says the weed there is extremely dank and very very cheap. Like, 1/2 o of headies there for like 8 bucks.

Having your own grow op is the only way to go. You get entire control over everything that goes into and comes out of the plant. These fucked up commercial grow ops produce simply for money, and the bud lacks the attention an individual could give it, since it is produced in extremely large quantities.
