    rastafari question

ital diets are tough unless your either rich or live on a farm, two things that don't describe me. Some people will just replace ital with being a vegetarian which is was for more than 10 years, started eating meat little under a year back for health reasons cause I couldn't keep up with giving myself enough nutrition anymore as a vegetarian.

Funny yeh mention the Bible the exact day I decide I need to go buy a new one! Misplaced my personal Bible moving to new location and been left with web based Bible (which is great being searchable and all, just rather hold it in my hand)(internet new to me in past few years all excited still lol) and my wife's pink cover having Bible.. Which I refuse to read, pink just bothers me..

Well to get back on track, my meditation is thought and conversation, book and Bible, which are the four things I can contribute to being who I am, and give me the ability all that I do.

took me about 30 minutes to hit submit button.. watching tv show in entirety.. another 20 from when i typed that zzzzzz  1am

Haven't gone to the store yet.. and.. not sure what I am going to be able to find at the store near to me, nothing but Hispanic/Portuguese shops around here so if by luck they have some English language Bibles I will see what versions are available in English and Old and New in one book. I know the Good News Bible is popular among people learning English so that may be there. I think there are further translation improvements made on the Good News Bible but not sure of the names, the book I had lost was this version and I had it for most of my life before it was lost.

That sucks you lost it, my slide on my bong broke randomly yesterday, not the same but meh. Good idea, i should get the bible with both versions. Would i be correct in saying that the rastafari movement differs from christianity because they believe Jah is the re-incarnation of jesus from the bloodline of queen sheeba and king soloman? I know it differs from christianity in many other ways, i just see the similarity to do with the bible which is why i ask.

    rastafari question

I must have been pretty tired cause i wrote out a post several days ago, guess I never got to hit submit....

So yeah, rasta differ in the way their interpretation of the bible, without getting into it too much since this is a topic that we would basically have to write essays back and forth to fully converse about. Selassie was given titles upon becoming King that find their root in the Bible. The Book of Revelations tell of the Lion of Judah (Christ) Ras Tafari is thought to have Christlike qualities, people like to throw out the term "God Incarnate" to discredit our beliefs because to those who are not devout it just sounds like insanity. If you think about through the eyes of a person of faith, we were created in the image of God, we are all his children, we are all him, just some were given sent with divine purpose. Selassie was a Man that in his time the whole world took notice of his good deeds and his struggle.

One more thing, people don't realize but the roots reggae that comes out these days is basically Gospel music in disguise.

I'm horrible, I can't stop writing here, I keep writing whole paragraphs that I later delete because each paragraph requires one more! Trying to keep it simple cause I don't like talking about things on the internet because anyone can say anything here, just not the same as face to face.

It would be disrespectful to Rastafari if someone critisized a white man/woman
for having Dreads, ONE LOVE !!!!! In Rastafarianism we accept all colors of race.
