I have prayed to God that if I am making the wrong decision to give me understanding of that, and it hasn't happened yet....the hardest thing to get over is the other church members not smoking pot. You want to get close to them but obviously they are against it. But we are not of worldy beliefs remember we are of God. Read your Bible and ask God to show you...and he will.
Took the words right out of my mouth! I am also a believer in Christ but have not truly became friends with him until these last couple of years. Dont you find it funny that the bible clearly states that you should not become drunk off of wine but yet so many in the church do it every weekend and it is pretty well accepted? This just shows you that nobody on earth here is perfect so you cant take their word for everything. It is your duty to seek out the truth to everything that youve learned or been taught and sooner or later the truth will jump out. And the fact that it can bring so much good yet people that use it are constantly persecuted just shows me another thing. God is constantly trying to do great for us be we constantly reject his fruits for money, greed, power etc. This is exactly why it is illegal now; for money, greed, and power of politicians and businessmen.
