Mothers: Soil or Hydro???
I must of hurd my name being called, LOL. Well, if you keep a mom in coco you will probably experience allot of growth so be prepared to take allot of clones. It is easier than hydro, but more work than soil in some parts and this is why. Coco generally needs a nute feeding almost every watering IMO and I suppose you could always set aside some solution from your veging plant aside to water the coco mom with, but for some people this may get old. On the other hand I find that many hydro growers just do this, put a mom in a 3 or 5 gallon pot with some Shultz all purpose potting soil and just water with PH adjusted water and can keep a mom like this for a year. If any defs occur then just use something like clearex to leach the soil. The trade off between this and coco is, in coco you can use smaller pots for bigger moms, but you need to water and feed more, while in soil you need bigger pots, but you just need to water. I think that in coco with moms you could probably get away with watering every couple days and do fine too.
Hope this helps guys/fellow growers.
Adieu
