My daughter got suspended for 4 days for fighting(her written story) inside

I am not sure what I should do.
She has never been in trouble before, has never been suspended. Should I go and talk to the principal. The campus supervisor said my daughter and 2 of her friends were ganging up on some other girl.

Here is my daughters story. She wrote it.

She says there are a lot of witnesses.






ok today,
at school this girl was talking crap about my friends. so they deside to comfront her about it.
so they go and talk to her i wasnt even in the conversation and then they walk away when they are done.
she comes walking up to my friend and she attacks her by grabbing her wrist and twisting them. then she punched my friend in the head. so i get in the middle and break it up. and my other friend falls backwards.
so then we get called up to the office and me and my friend that fell get suspended for the rest of the week.

She is 14, but needs to start using capitol letters. LOL

Well, she has showed me the paper that she signed stating what happened in the schools words. Here is what it says she did.

During lunch (my daughter) pushed another student who was fighting one of her friends.

it said her behavior violated education code blah, blah, blah.

She signed it! I can't believe her. I told her if she wasn't guilty she would not of signed it.
What do you think?

you need jack bauer from 24 to get the "real" truth

if thats all that happened then go complain to the school
being suspended is great
thats no kinda punishment

if it went down how she said
be proud of her that she has a backbone

When I was in school I was forced to sign documents several times under threat of longer suspensions/harsher punishments. Schools dont give children time to explain their side. At my high school refusing to sign a paper was grounds for an addional 5 days suspension.

If you don't sign, you get in more trouble. So telling her not to sign is not a good idea.

Yeah, I will take her down there and confront them on it. See what happens. Should be fun.

She is a very loyal friend. You can't ask for more than that. I have jumped in to help friends too many times. I can't hold her at fault for that. I gave her a hug and she started crying. Great parent/child bonding moment. LOL

You NEVER admit your guilty if you aren't.
Hell, NEVER admit your guilty if you are.

I told her she never signs a document in school again without consulting me. I will talk to them about that tommorrow.

What I don't understand, and it makes me so sad, is why are so many teenage girls fighting? I mean really fighting.
In this day and age it spells trouble for all involved.

I know I'm not a dinasour dammit but we just didn't do that!!! Sure, we got mad at eachother and a "group" would be one or 2 friends trying to act all cool by being the back up. lol
Now kids are getting hurt and these fights? They are real....they mean them to hurt.

Like I said before, this hurts me deeply and saddens me.
Our children really aren't safe.
