i think your daugther did what was right... it doesn't say she jumped into a fight and started throwing punches, it says she tried to step in between the two who were into it and seperate them....

guilty.. guilty of what exactly dude? trying to stop a fight? i'd rather be known guilty of trying ot stop a fight, then getting in the middle of it and throwing hands...

and actually that she saw the level headed way out of it and tried to prevent the violence is something to be proud of... not something that needs punishment, or any further action....

She has never been in trouble before, has never been suspended. Should I go and talk to the principal. The campus supervisor said my daughter and 2 of her friends were ganging up on some other girl. Here is my daughters story. She wrote it. She says there are a lot of witnesses. Rating: 5

well when you're tryign to break up a fight you don't exactly step inbetween them and become a mutal punching bag.. you push (or pull if you're behind, but she was in the middle, so she wouldn't be pulling) the aggressor away from the other.... pushing isn't fighting....

if she was fighting, there woulda been pulling hair, slapping, punching, kicking, ect....

your daughter (imho) was doing what it took to break up the fight...

If you don't sign, you get in more trouble. So telling her not to sign is not a good idea.

My parents told me the same thing. NEVER SIGN SOMETHING WITHOUT PARENTS CONSENT. They told me to never sign a thing, so I never did. I was a little trouble some in school so I cad a few contracts put in front of me. One was just a lame student waver that I didn't feel was needed for me to learn history, and then I got like 3 for fighting. All came with the threat for longer suspension. I didn't sign a one without at least one of my parents present and thats how I plan to have it for my kids. Schools like to word things in the favor of one individual. None of the things that they threatened to do to me if I didn't sign happened. Signing those papers signs away your innocence.

Also I heard that contracts signed by a person under the age of 18, without there guardians consent, are VOID. I think my mom has actually used this argument when they tryed to give me community service, which I didn't have to do. Go, mom. . .

This is just her first lesson in how unjust the world is...Explain that life will be like that sometimes and to prepare to fight for your right for justice... then give her an Ice Cream for watching her friends Back...
