is cannabis strains just getting TOO strong nowdays?

i got a ten bag today and came home and had a smoke, it literally blew my head off,im no stranger to gettting wasted but todays weed is WAY stronger than the stuff that was around a few years ago. is it time to say enough and stay on the not so heavy stuff? or keep going and seeing where these new ways of growing will end up?

keep going, i am young enough to have started smoking the stronger stuff and now if i smoke with my dad he gets really out while i am just getting high so fo rthe sake of being able to get mad high off your kids weed in future stronger weed is good. having said that maybe thats not so great i don;t know.

No way man, the THC is a hallucinogenic, the cannaboids aren't. The more THC the more like a hallucinogenic it will be.

I'm pretty sure thc IS a cannabinoid, but otherwise you're correct.
The more thc in the cannabis, the less of an indica body high it will be and more of a trippy hallucinogenic sativa high.
The good strains however incorporate both to the max.

Still, it's not like there really needs to be more.
Theres only so much you can smoke until it becomes so confusing it's pointless, and I'd say this level is easily reachable with a few puffs of todays dank on a no-tolerance level.

All good weed would do is save you money and really help chronic smokers get an edge on their shitty tolerance.
