CannCom Growers Get-Together?! Boston MA
MHS in the Media
Hey guys and girlies!
I'm going to this. It always rocks. BayState Expo Ctr. March 17-25... Mass Horticultural Society flower show (actually more of a garden show)
Anyway I was thinking get baked... look at pretty flowers... hang out with the proper folk from the garden clubs as they sip their tea and cluck over how the snowless winter has dried out their prize rosebushes...
Anyone???

That's a given! I've actually got a couple pics from a horticultural show I went to with the Yeag this past week in western MA at Smith College, but they have us in them. I should have taken some anonymous ones, fuck. It was beautiful. I think the Smith College botanical gardens are a must-see in this area. Their Victorian-era greenhouses are divided into several different climate types- a cool house that is currently FULL of spring bulbs, 2 different tropical forest types with tree ferns, coffee trees, bananas, etc, a water garden room with aquatics and carnivorous plants, a cactus room, and orchid room, a hallway full of camellias and citrus fruits, a 'cloud forest' of exotic ferns and the more difficult orchids, and a couple others that I can't really classify. And that's just indoors. I'll be going back soon though, no worries, it's one of my favorite rainy-day hiding spots, especially if there's a thunderstorm expected, you can sit in there and it is pretty amazing.
