    Shooting Co2 into bottom of soil

    Anyone ever heard of running a hose from a co2 cartidgle from a paintball fun and the other end of the hose is in the bottom of the pot "misting" the roots with Co2??????????????????

    It isn't done because it isn't a good thing for your plants.
    -CO2+moisture and you're getting carbonic acid
    -Roots want OXYGEN
    -The decompression of gases results in drastically lowered temps, very bad for roots.

    You want healthy plants you have to maximize the rest of your grow before you start mucking about with CO2 injection.

    Stinkys right though, roots want o2. Hence air stones in DWCs. If your going to use a co2 suppliment, have the co2 at the base of the plant so it works its way to the top of the grow area before venting. You want the gas to hit the undersides of the leaves where transpiration occurs.
