I have deer and goat solution!
Hey Crissy,
Don't usually have much deer probs here but just curious -
Would Marigolgs stand out like a sore thumb?
Would they have to be all around the beds to offer protection or would just a couple mixed in be a deterent?
bobunclebob Reviewed by unclebob on . I have deer and goat solution! Marigolds! Growing up our gardens were always ravaged by deer, goats, or rabbits. We learnt from another farmer to plant a border of Marigolds around them and never again were our veggies stolen. Deer hate them because of the smell and at the end of the season dry the flowers break apart and scatter to seed the next year. Rating: 5New opinions are always suspected, and usually opposed, without any other reason but because they are not already common.\" - John Locke
