    Carbon Scrubber. Stupid n00b question.

I'm going today to pick up supplies for my DIY carbon scrubber and I have a question. I have a hard time visualizing dimension, so can someone tell me, after I have the scrubber built...how the hell do I use it?

If both ends are sealed with end caps, how does the air flow through it to get scrubbed?

    Ise jes so cohfuzed.
Please help, I'm going out today to get the stuff, so I really need to know, in case I need to buy anything extra.

    Thanks so much

    Carbon Scrubber. Stupid n00b question.

it works in exactly the same way as an air filter on a car, exept your not using foam or paper to filter out dust, your using activated carbon to filter out smell.

the problem bein you have to somehow sandwich the carbon grauals between two porus barriers to make the filter work.

only one end is sealed, the other end is has a hole for an intake/exhaust, and then the air is forced to pass through the filter material, in this case carbon granuals, in the case of a car air filter, a foam or pourus paper structure.

picture shown is a performance car air filter, the same principals apply.

Thank you! I was trying to visualize if both ends were sealed or not, and I just couldn't wrap my mind around it. Much much appreciated!
