We're all in this life together, and that was my point, Sam. None are perfect, none are saints and we all go through the same "Blackened waters" of life.

When you realize you are not alone in your misery, but share it with the world, that "one love" will reveal herself to you. Then walking on water becomes an everyday event. Love doesn't have to be personal, it can be as big as you want it...you just gotta embrace it to find out.

Sam, no one can deal with your problems but you. Same with me and every other person on this earth. We can talk to others about them, and even find some in the same situation, but in the end, our problems are our own and that is life. I think sometimes we have to drown in the depths just to rise to the surface.

You're right, tho; Love is one of the hardest things to embrace, but once you are there, the past no longer matters and the present becomes magical....

Yeah, me too Sam (My ex-wife) and I still haven't found another to share my life with since the divorce. Heartbreak sucks, but you're still focusing on the feeling and not the essence. Sometimes our feelings get in the way, but the essence isn't selfish, it's truly wanting the best for others.

Love is much more than a feeling or action; it is a way of life. It's not mushy, or weak, or even mildly related to lust, nor is it conditional. I love my ex-wife more now than I did when we were together, but I don't miss her, or want her back. She is happily remarried to a VERY good man, and they have two kids together. I'm happy for her new found family even if I am not a part of it...

Jealousy, anger, self pity, and not being able to accept losing someone you love all stand in the way of truly embracing the essence I'm talking about. It's not always easy, but once you're there, the past doesn't matter anymore and the present becomes...well you know, lol
