I have rosacea (excessively red cheeks, nose, and chin)... so I have to wear makeup.
I think I've tried a million foundations, and my favorite is Laura Mercier. Her line of foundations are amazing and have enough "yellow" in it to help counter my discoloration.
Of course, I usually end up using eyeshadow and mascara since the foundation is already on...

I envy those women who can look great without makeup... I'M JUST NOT ONE OF THEM!

No, she was a very attractive and depressingly heterosexual woman.

I am perfectly comfortable leaving the house with no make up on, so long as my hair is brushed and not all greasy. I used to have a shower every morning and put on at least a little make up, but as time went on i just didn't bother. Now with a new baby it's a whole different story. I need to plan out and start early if I want to shower and put on a little make up, so needless to say I've kinda given up, but I do try to make the time every few days, atleast for my husbands sake, oh and to get a little sex, lol.
Even when I do where it I only use eyebrow pencil, eye liner, masscara, and some lip gloss, I've always been a believer in natural beauty and like to compliment flaws, cause at the end of the day the person who matters most ends up seeing you with none on.
As for chapstick Blistex rules!

I have rosacea too, but my cheeks only (the ones on my face) I never found it a big deal, some people are actually jealous of it,

I agree it's not the best for treating chapped lips, carmex is my #1 choice... beeswax, menthol, and lanolin... instant ahhh... but the badger balm is so nice and soft and yummy I even use it in summer when I don't need it.
