I know some girls who wont leave the house without it. Also what kind of foundation do any of you use. Im wanting to make a switch and dont want to end up buying something that will make my face look orange. Rating: 5

i wear very little makeup...usually just mascara and one light colored eyeshadow- usually somethin bronze and shiny.
i even go to school without any makeup on sometimes!!
the real reason i dont wear a lot is cause im lazy. lol.
as for facial products- i just invested in that 3 step system that Clinique has out- it works wonders and is totally worth the investment. your skin feels soooo soft and dewy

If you are having pictures taken, MAC foundation is the best! I learned makeup as a model, and I put myself through school working as a makeup artist, and that line is great for photographs (esp weddings!)
I love Cargo blush and lipgloss, Dior Eyeshadow, and Chanel lipstick.
I lose my mind in Sephora:dance:

w00t! That's my fave mascara ever. I've tried everything out there, but Maybelline 4.99 a tube is still the rockinest.

Ya, I generally go the makeup less look, but maybe twice a month I like to throw on makeup, and then it's just tan eyeshadow, mascara, and Powder Palette's green makeup. I love the green because it evens out my skin without having to resort to foundation or other powders. I used to have horrible acne and I couldn't leave the house without a millimetre of foundation... which gets really gross six years later. So now that I've finally got my skin cleared up, I'm just so happy to be able to run around without foundation I hate to put the stuff on.
DroPrincess: I found the key to covering blemishes with liquid foundations isnt the foundation but the applicator. Fingers don't work, nor do the wands that come with the some tubes of coverup... you need triangular makeup sponges (pardon me if you already have them and are doing this). Put on foundation with the sponges, and right at the end, before you set the foundation with powder, dab foundation over the blemish with the corner of the sponge.
I'll look into Bare Minerals makeup... I love makeup even though I rarely wear the stuff! Cheerio!

That's one thing that the powder Bare Minerals doesn't do very well is make a concealer. They may produce some sort of liquid or cream concealer now, but if they do, I haven't yet seen it.

It has those light-reflecting particles so it helps deflect some of the attention from the blemish. There are other "correctives" on the market, and I've tried them all. This stuff beats everything I've ever tried, and my sister agrees with that assessment. You apply it with your finger or a cosmetic sponge or Q-tip and can thin it out with moisturizer, too. I use it on dark circles. I used to have a lot more use for it on blemishes before I began using another great product to clear up my broken-out middle-aged skin, Proactiv solution.\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"
