I was wondering how important your make up is to you. Me when I go out in public I dont have to have my make up on but I feel better if I do. I know some girls who wont leave the house without it. Also what kind of foundation do any of you use. Im wanting to make a switch and dont want to end up buying something that will make my face look orange.

About makeup...I used to be one of those who wouldn't step out to get the mail without my face on. I'm 37 and have 4 kids now. I don't give a damn anymore LOL! I feel better if I have it on, naturally, but I don't have to have it on to leave the house anymore.

For foundation, I use Bare Minerals. It's good for your skin, and really natural looking and easy to use. It has built-in SPF 15 sun protection too, so no wrinkles or cancer! It NEVER turns me orange, and I have really hard to match skin. You can blend shades together to get the perfect match.

I rarely ever wear makeup. I went through a phase in high school where I wore black liquid eyeliner everyday.

I look back at pictures and wonder WHAT IN THE HELL WAS I THINKING?

The only time I wear makeup now is if I am dressing up or something...and even then I hardly wear any.

Makeup is a lot of fun...but I don't wear much. If I do wear it ill wear like blush and mascara...and thats it.

Oh also I own CARGO foundation, and it fucking rocks. Kind of expensive but I bought it a year and a half ago and have way more than half left still.

I also have cargo blush, and I love that stuff...

..and I have MAC mascara....

I just really like a good moisturizer... just started using the Olay touch of sun (has a little self tanner in it) to get rid of that winter paleness... I can't stand foundation so it's SUPER important to have good skin!

I wear a baseball cap a lot and when I do I make sure to put on eyeliner so I don't look TOO much like a dude, lol.

And lip gloss IMO is better than the whole fuss with traditional lipstick.

And I agree, moisturizer is sooooo important, although I'm not very picky about what type, as long as I'm not allergic to it. I usually try to buy something with SPF15 or higher. I spend a lot of time outside (I'm a camping and fishing nut), and sun can really mess your skin up. It breaks down collagen and all kinds of horrid stuff. Although I have to admit, I look better with a tan. I turn downright yellow during the winter.:silly:
