I was talking about this with my pops on the phone last night and he made a good point.

If random testing ever does come into full effect, what's going to happen is some of the students will come back dirty, get kicked out of school, and won't be allowed back if they don't follow the rules. What we'll end up with is having many young people, not educated, and not able to work happily in life. That will result in unemployment, that leads to stealing, and robbing people.

These methods from the Bush Admin. are not going to work. Just like the War on Drugs. Things have only gotten worse since they started that, and doing this will produce the same results.

I should have made this a little more clear form the start. It isn't random testing. They only test if you are entering extra curricular (sp?) activities, like sports for example, or if you came to school impaired, or got caught with drugs, or if some outside source pointed you out for using/selling drugs.

I'm sure it isn't random. It's not like, pick a kid out of the class and test them. They have to have a reason to do so.

It would be much too expensive to randomly test kids. They complain about not getting paid enough as it is.
