Hello from Ontario

I'm not sure I belong here, but I do have a plant I've been growing since September 1st. It is more of a passion for gardening, than because I want to use the stuff. I have a 29-year old daughter who smokes, and may give the harvest to her, but feeling a bit....well, I shouldn't-ish. KWIM?
Her bf buys it in TO, but if I grow it for her, she will know it's fresh and clean, yet I don't want to encourage the habit.

I'm 59, I don't smoke, can't - bad lungs, but have tried eating it in cookies. One cookie knocks me flat for about 5 hours. I don't do much of anything at that time, no reading, TV seems boring. I just sit mostly. It doesn't induce sleep, this plant (seeds given me by a neighbour from his stash). I'm not too fond of this feeling. AND my hubby is turning a blind eye, won't even talk to me about my new little 'project' - very afraid of the legal ramifications of having a plant in the house, although we do live in the country surrounded by neighbours who grow stuff for their own use.

but I am very fascinated watching this plant grow! I don't know when to harvest it, but just was given a mag called High Times, which has a lot of pics, so that may help. I'll go post a pic of it in the picture gallery here.

So: that's why I'm here, and my mood is 'confused'.

Very clever, Mikej....think you can find out where the stuff is growing eh? what's that famous line:
