Ah yes, this is a common problem with some people.

If you want to heat it up to make it more solid, you can use the oven. Don't use a lighter as it will burn away.

To use an oven, what you do is you take the kif that is already rolled up tightly in a bag, take a piece of paper, and wrap it tightly around the kif in the baggie. Make sure it is completly covered with the paper. Once it's wrapped up, you just tape it shut.

Now, pre-heat your oven to 175degC. Don't use Farenheit as cannabis has a vaping temp of 220degC.

Take that kif now wrapped in the plastic and paper, and soak it down with water really, really well. Ensure the kif is 100% selaed no water gets inside.

Take the wet kif package, and place in the oven for 15minutes. When you take it out, as soon as you can, start applying mass pressure on the package. A hammer works, but use a rolling pin or something similair in this situation, if you can. You will feel the package is kind of soft, like gel, that is a good thing. Apply mass pressure on both sides of the kif package to press it.

Then put it in the fridge to cool down. Cool it before you unwrap the hot pressed hash, as it might crumble apart if not cooled.

I've tried it this way before and it works as well. Hopefully this helps.
