makes sense, thanks. I'm thinking of building a box maybe 3-4 feet tall at my grow site and hanging only the buds (not the entire plants) in there with a bunch of newspaper or other absorbent paper I could change regularly.

I would say that the problem would be space, you will need plenty of hieght so that you can keep your buds well off the ground so you don't have to worry about moisture from the ground and you will need plenty of free air movement around your buds to lessen the chance of mold. Last you will need ventilation, ridge vent, gable vent, slatted walls or some thing so the air moves.
