Growing cannabis sideways
:S2: no really i'm serious
i was thinking how this would solve alot of my problems such as height restrictions and such. here is my crappy diagram
(plants) (lights)
{----* (----------------
{------* (-----------------
{-----* (--------------
i was thinking i could handle supporting the plants to stay upright easily enough with some sort of support structure.
i'd also have to think of how to keep the soil from falling out of the pot (should be easily done)
As for watering i could cut a hole on the plant pots side and water through there with drainage holes on the opposite side
all comments, ideas, ect welcome and i hope to here some feedbacksavagepossum Reviewed by savagepossum on . Yeah that is actually a growing method for other plants I was in school for hort engineering. and that is a growing method call Topisim I was stoned allot so its a little fuzzy but The advantages are The plant is constantly fighting gravity so in turn it grows stronger. They actuall dont do it side ways but rather up side down..
Try it out U might be impressed

I was going to suggest planting the germed seeds in a hole in the side of an upright pot, but yeah training will probably work just as well. Good luck on your sideways grow!

Tropism is a tendency of a plant to grow towards something... plants display PHOTOtropism... growing towards light

Cannabis will always grow towards the light no matter which way you orient its stem. And THAT is just simple training. If you want it to truly grow sideways, you're going to have to give only side light from one direction.
