    1-wk Seedlings Stuck in Neutral

    Hey peoplez,

Ok here's the situation: I'm growing 2 Northern Light fems. They are currently only a week old. One is a little over an inch tall, the other just barely an inch. they only have 4 leaves which are under 1/2 long. The thing is, they don't seem to be growing that fast. especially over the past two days. I'm using phed water with Superthrive. Is this just a characteristic of the type of plant or no? any help would be greatly appreciated(also, please be gentle, im a newbie grower!!)....

Mine are that big or maybe just a bit bigger and they broke surface about eight days ago. I don't know what the problem is or if there is even a problem. I'm just a noob.

your lights are too close for the seedlings and that pot is too big. back the light off and try not to overwater. You should have started the seeds in a small rockwool cube or peet cube then put into an 8oz cup. 8 inch pot will hold much more water than the seedling can use and suffacate her....if you are careful you should still be able to make it work.
