Got three going, suggestions welcomed
they are three weeks old, i think the pots are 6in square, Fox Farm Soil, under 24hr light, 6x26 watt CFL, temp around 85 degrees. how are they looking? the first seems to be growing the fastest, but the two bottom fan leaves are almost completely yellow. The second is still pretty small and as with the first one, the two bottom fans are turning yellow. The third is just goofy as hell and its leaves are pretty much all over the place and the two bottom fans are near completely yellow. they all have casually been given Fox Farm Grow Big 6-4-4 about every other day.
first two pics are of the same one, the third is the runt, the fourth is the goofy one.
couple of questions...
1) Why are the two bottom fan leaves turning yellow? any remedies?
2) The second one has been that size for the past week (maybe a little longer), Why might it have slowed its growth? any remedies?
3) Why is the last one growing all wacky? It too has pretty much stopped growing, and the tips are starting to turn brown. remedies?
4) How are they looking? should they be bigger at this point? any estimates on how much longer b/4 going 12/12?
thanks too all who reply!Gasper02 Reviewed by Gasper02 on . i uncluded a few pics of mine, they are 2 and a half weeks old. I am also using the FF soil, started them out under 3 cfl's. I think yours should be bigger at the moment .....do you have a fan on them? how often do you water? your temps a lil high.

they are watered usually once a day, or when the soil at about an inch down in the soil is dry. MOBABN, how many watts is your lights? as far as a fan blowing on them, i am using the same grow box design as BODOM CHILDREN OF used for his grow.. http://boards.cannabis.com/growroom-...b-growbox.html
and dont really have too much room to put a fan in there. I do have a hold in the top with a 120mm computer fan on top blowing out, just like the one in BODOM's grow box.

you are over watering, i water mine when they feel light in weight. When i water them fully ill lift to feel the weight of them when fully watered. This is usually every 3-5 days. You need a fan in there for sure makes your main stem alot stronger. Mine look like tree trunks!!!

the cfl's im usin are the same wattage as yours and were half an inch from the plant. I just threw them under a 400whps because i only have 4 cfl's and 3 plants growin.

well then will defiantly cut back on the water... as far as a fan maybe can run out to wally world and pick up a cheap small one... i realize you said the fan makes the stems stronger... do you know why that is (not doubting, just curious)??? also, you have any suggestions as to why the two bottom fan leaves have turned yellow?

I don't think you are over watering. I water the same way with 3 gl pots and am fine. I think you have burnt your plants by feeding them too early. You shouls START feeding them at about 3 weeks. The brown turned down tips is a sign of nute burn. Flush with R/O water, 3 times the pot size in water. then just use water till they recover. How is your pH?

not too sure on the pH, Been doing some reading and from what ive gathered is that their growth might be stunted b/c of the pH level, will pick up something to test the pH on Monday.. will try to hold off on feeding till the end of the week, and will flush the goofy one tonight. just them two bottom fan leaves got me worried, dont want it to spread.

Hey Chronic Chrissy! You said to flush the one, but would it be alright to flush the other two as their two bottom fan leaves have turned completely yellow? Would it benefit to remove the two fan leaves on the bottom that are completely yellow? You think they will spread to the other leaves eventually killing it? they seem to be hard and somewhat cracked.
