anyone heard it? i can't believe they completely decimated such a beautiful fucking song like this.... my love for godsmack has went down quite a bit just because of this crap...

the song, was done by them, on their first cd... it's just simply called voodoo...

download the original, then listen to 'too' again..... if it were a cover, you know, it wouldn't be so bad, covered songs are very rarely as good as the original, because it's not their work, and they don't have that same feel....

but this is their own song... i've loved godsmack since the begining, and to me, voodoo is a work of art... a masterpeice... then they do this to their own song =/ i guess only hardcore godsmack (or voodoo) fans could really understand it...

they just slaughtered it...

like i said, if it were just a cover of another song, it wouldn't be so bad... i rarely expect anything good from covers, and if it is good, i'm suprised... (there is an exception tho... avril's cover of chop suey... she didn't only slaughter the shit, she murdered it in cold blood!)

yeah that's exactly what i'm saying... i haven't been keeping up with my music, and today i found out the released a new ablum in '06 called IV .... and on it is voodoo too.... and what i heard far surpasses just dissapointment.

btw, the whole album is just 'ok' i loved their first one, and awake... and i really liked the other side (the name was true, it showed a whole nother side of them... even tho it wasn't their style, it was VERY well done...)

i saw voodoo as a masterpeice...

then i see voodoo too... and at best, it's another shitty atttempt at making something great.... instead of being made by an extremely talented artist... it's a low-level nobody, an attempt to just sell or get famous...
