It is legal trouble in my state too..but since I didn't call the police when it happend they can't get involved...unless I were to sue her..which I am not going to do.

Your right, but all that would happen at this point is she gives me cash out of pocket because that is the only option. I haven't really told her what I am going to do, I am letting her shit herself a little more first..

She is a full time college student who also works full time, just like me. I know how hard it is, and she is the exact same age as me.

Sure it was extremely stupid of her to not have insurance..

..and if she did have insurance there is a good chance I would have just been handed an 1800$ check and my titled have been salvaged. Which would have TOTALLY rocked.

BUT since she had no insurance I don't think I can make this girl give me money. I wouldn't fix my car with the money, I would buy a fatty sack of weed or something..I just wouldn't feel right about it.


So I am just going to take this as a learning lesson for both of us. Now she has car insurance(since she got it the day after)...and I will always get the goddamned police involved no matter how small the damage....

SO she called me back guys!

...she was really nice and said the reason she hadn't gotten back to me is because she works and goes to school full time(as DO I)....anyway...she was really nice and said she was afraid of confrontation..and that it was killing her all week that she didn't call me back..(really wouldn't have been that hard?)

...anyway...so she didn't have car insurance..!!!!!!!
SHE did however go and get it the next day...
...she wants me to call my insurance people and tell them I made a mistake about WHEN it happend..so that her insurance will cover it.

It is Definitely not worth a few bucks to possibly be bought up on fraud charges... She doesn't even have a stable partner in crime...Very Bad Idea...
