I did in fact report it to my insurance and I also filled out an accident report and got a full estimate on my vehicle.

If she would have fucking called me that night and said that she was going to get insurance the next day then that would have all been possible and hunky dory...

However...since I had to do the right and legal thing than of course I am getting screwed over!

This girl isn't a criminal, she is just a 21 year old trying to figure out life...much like myself. Accidents and mistakes happen, and we live we learn....My car is a fucking 1992 geo prizm, is it REALLY worth it? I don't think so. It would have only been worth it if I got to go through insurance and salvage my title, it isn't worth it to ruin some innocent girls life.

Your right, but all that would happen at this point is she gives me cash out of pocket because that is the only option. I haven't really told her what I am going to do, I am letting her shit herself a little more first..

She is a full time college student who also works full time, just like me. I know how hard it is, and she is the exact same age as me.

Sure it was extremely stupid of her to not have insurance..

..and if she did have insurance there is a good chance I would have just been handed an 1800$ check and my titled have been salvaged. Which would have TOTALLY rocked.

BUT since she had no insurance I don't think I can make this girl give me money. I wouldn't fix my car with the money, I would buy a fatty sack of weed or something..I just wouldn't feel right about it.


So I am just going to take this as a learning lesson for both of us. Now she has car insurance(since she got it the day after)...and I will always get the goddamned police involved no matter how small the damage....
