The Ugly Friend

Does anyone in here ever feel like the ugly friend? I'm not looking for compliments because I know I'm not ugly. This mostly applies to females, but do you ever have a friend that always gets the guy? I'm friends with some GORGEOUS females and I love them to death, but when we go out the only time males talk to me is to get their number lol. It just makes me feel like the weird ugly friend. Its ok though because I'm also the funny friend I guess, people always tell me that I'm funny, and guys just bring drama. Haha. Its just funny cuz I will get ready to go out and feel like I look good and then my friends are like "What shoes should I wear? What belt matches" and I'm like ummmmm cuz I don't know stuff about that.

Also this is a tangent, but I HATE IT when my gorgeous friends are like "Oh, im so fat/fugly/stringy-haired" because it makes me second guess myself which I hate doing. I just have a high body image I guess, lol. I just think its rude because theyre all like size 3-5 and I wear a 12 I'm like hello?!?! I obviously weigh more than you, but I'm happy about it and it feels almost insulting when they say that. I wish they could see theyre gorgeous. I hope I just didnt sound hypocritical.

maybe you dont fall into the common pamela anderson style if you goto niteclubs etc most of the guys go for them types of girls and most of the guys who go for them girls just want a fuck so does it matter?

A lot of girl groups (especially the more superficial ones) have atleast one friend in that group that all the rest want to feel 'better' then. Sounds like you're that girl. I would get new friends.

Yes, I do have that "ugly friend" sometimes its my best friend, sometimes its me, sometimes its a girl I hate.

When those superficial girls say, "im so ugly, or im so fat" all I say, is "yeah you are" because if they had any self confidence they wouldnt be asking these questions in the first place.

Me, I know im not the prettiest girl, but im not the ugliest either, all I know, is that in my eyes I am the best person of all, ME
