I think that using the term 'organics' to describe soil grows is misleading... like comparing socialism and democracy, lol... you can use chemical ferts in dirt or hydro, and the same with organic ferts...

You can perfectly well go organic in hydro or soilless media.

The comparison should be strictly between 'hydro' and 'soil'.

Each has its advantages.

Choose your medium to suit your situation.
