heat stress....place a fan on the bulbs
invision Reviewed by invision on . Fimmed and LST'd by a noober. So I've got these 6 bagseed plants that are 4 weeks old and I'm pretty much abusin' them (two of them browned up a bit, I kinda starved them we think) but the other 4 are super happy, so I decided to FIM em and LST em. I FIMmed on veg day 31,and I started LST'ing them the next day. I've been tying them down little by little but they're all bent 90 degrees over the soil then 90 degrees to the side. Today is veg day 33 which means I'm waiting until Feb 13th to switch to 12/12. It's amazing to Rating: 5

Nah, it's not too much heat, the temp is a perfect 76 in there, top to bottom, and the mh lamps are like 18" off the top of the plants. There are CFL's but they're far enough away too, I think it's just the plant kinda freaking out due to the FIM. They look better, now, but it's darkness in there currently so I'll try to snap some photos later tonight.

Thanks for the props on the preflowers pic. I'm just happy to have them. I received my 400w HPS today, so when the lights came on I installed the HPS, and while doing that I moved the plants around the house a bit and took photos of the 3 preflowering females. Nothing closeup, just to show shape and size a bit.
The first pair of photos are of the same plant, the 2nd pair is of the next female and the last is the top of the 3rd female.
Enjoy.

FIM = Fuck I Missed --> a technique by which one cuts off part of the top of the growing, vegetating plant in an attempt to grow more than one top cola.
LST = Low Stress Training --> a technique where one ties the plant over at an angle while growing to expose more of the lower branches to light.
Nute= nutrients --> Plant food. Very important.
Now for some gratuitous plant shots. There are 5 females in the room, which is good and bad, as I'm only allowed 3 flowering females in my state, so I'm giving 2 of them to a local dispensary, which in turn is giving them to an indigent patient that they just setup a grow room for.

Hey, herbaltivo.
Bout time I made it to check this one out. Looks like you are on the right track. Glad to see you have some confirmed females. Good luck with the flowering. Too bad you can't keep all five. Mind my asking which state that is?
The only thing I could possibly suggest is moving that powerstrip in the back...especially if you mist your plants. Humidity and such. You know. I know I might get called out because I have a powerstrip in the Cab of Life, but "I" don't mist, and the plants aren't touching it...so it's not really a problem.
All in all, good looking grow man. Looking forward to seeing the results. Take it breezy.

No, I don't mind telling you what state I'm in, I'm medical, and as stated above, I'm even following the rules :-p
Colorado only allows you to have 3 mature flowering plants at one time. I wouldn't be growing at all if it wasn't allowed for me, as the risk is too great...(kids, property, etc.)
Simple posession in Colorado is not a big deal, as anything under 1oz is decriminalized anyway, and for medical patients, we can posess 2oz of manicured product, aside from drying plants, which are still considered "flowering" if they're still hanging, drying, etc.
As for the powerstrip, this closet is a work in progress, and when I mounted it, I had NO IDEA how big these plants would get, so it'll be moving upward one of these days.
I don't mist, or foliar feed anymore as things seem good as they are.
Thanks for the props though. I'm pretty darned stoked that things are rolling along.
Next time, I'm doing a 3 female scrog, since my space seems suited to 3-4 plants.

OK these plants are getting a little tall...32-33 inches, and those are the side shoots from the bent main stem. The main colas are catching up to the rest of the canopy with the exception of one which continued to grow sideways for 3 inches for whatever reason before turning upward.
Question: I'm using the foxfarms ferts and I've been feeding with every watering since around day 24. Is this good/bad/stupid? The plants don't seem any worse for wear.
