They avoid that issue like the plague. They KNOW what should be done but are to afraid that it'll effect the popularity polls.

    Have a good one!

the Clitons wont do it they had their chance twice and passed without puffing. its hard to say leaglize when you deny you inhaled.
As far as Obamba no for him to because he will be the first MINORITY president and he will wnat to set a PRESIDENT for others to follow in his footsteps.
If you want a canidate that will leaglize try a libritarian canidate. its what the whole party believes in.
this will need to be states rights issue. and then the federal government can back off on enforcement. thus keeping the president safe from makin controversial decision and it will be leagle where people are accepting of it.

yeah, the whole key is giving power back to the states, away from the federal governement... the feds are the one's stopping the advance. states are starting to move to the light but their progess is useless with the threat of federal prosecution still being there! ugh...

mainly i am curious as to who is "pro" in their stance to see who with be easier letting states regulate this issue themselves. anyone know???

Official Website of the Libertarian National Committee

no major politcian will openly admit it so no one really can say for certain. plus would you believe a politician?

If you wait a bit closer to the elections NORML and many others will rank those who are running. Maybe someone will join in between now and then.

war, famine, pestilence; these are the horsemen that the candidates ride with. all else pales by comparison. the original anti-drug legislation was illegal, a blatant infringement on state's rights, so no presidential candidate is going to touch the subject with a ten foot pole. they are going to leave decriminalization up to the states and then duke it out over who has the real authority.

if you are waiting for a viable candidate to come out for legalization, don't hold your breath. far too much federal money has been spent to keep the population ignorant for them to start backpedaling now. don't forget, these are politicians not real people and they live and die by the rule of lie.

thanks... keep the info coming... i am not waiting for someone to base a candidacy on a marijuana issue, but each politicians stance is important for the decision i will make in 2008.
