What do you guys think about kissing and telling?

Basically last tuesday, I played a gig with my band and afterwards was cotching with our two lead guitarists outside the venue.
All of a sudden they start talking about which of their million girlfriends gave the best head, then handjob, etc. They sat there scrolling through their ex's while I sat and listened, eventually I flipped and the convo kinda went like this:

Me: What the fuck are you two on about?
#1:What do you mean? girlfriends man!
Me: I mean why are you just talking about all this shit like it doesn't matter, don't you think it's kinda, like...
#2: Well... We're just talking y'know!
#1: Yer, man to man conversation.
Me: Yeah but come on, it's fucking disrespectful. Don't you like, think about.... *kinda trailed off*
#2: Not really.
#1: Yeah, what about you and *girlfriends name*.
Me: What about her?
#1: She blatantly gave you head on your 18th or something!?
Me: ...... What the fuck?
#2: *laughs*
#1: What's wrong with talking about it, did she? Come on, tell us!!
Me: .... What? No man, why would I tell you something like that!
Both: *laugh*
#1: That blatantly means she did. How was it?
Me: Fuck off.
#1: *laughing* What?

I just shook my head and left it and they carried on. Is it wrong for me to think talking about your girlfriend/boyfriend like they're a fuck machine and nothing more is a bit fucked up? I can imagine other guys consider it simple man to man discussion but I say if your gonna lay it out in details like they were, you might as well post nude pics of her on the Internet.

To be honest, a lot of relationships are mechanical. People get together to fuck, and emotion is left out completely. I don't like that kind of thing, that's why I don't have a girlfriend right now, but I understand that some people need that kind of thing. Whenever I get pulled into a convo like that, I just play along and try to put myself into the mindset I had back when I was in the ghetto fabulous pseudo mafia, when I would fuck anything that walked and some things that didn't.

A lot of guys talk about sexual experiences with their GF and ex GF. Hell I even know a couple that brags about it. I just listen and well to be honest It doesnt piss me off. I mean I hope my ex's tell their friends on how awesome I am in bed.

Personally, I don't do it...I don't want to call it a "guy thing" but I know my husband still tells some of his friends and he's, like, 107, so I don't think it's something he'll grow out of. You either talk or you don't.

One of my friends had this idea to go on webcam with her boyfriend and I remember thinking, "Hearing about it is bad enough...I certainly don't want to see it." Thinking about it still makes me shudder.

its pretty simple...as a guy, I run into this kinda converstion all the time. basically, you smile and nod and follow along, then at an appropriate break in the conversation, you insert a fabulous lie about a girl you once had who was a contortionist in the Russian circus. this garners respect for you in the eyes of your male buddies, and you get to laugh your ass off when you tell them the truth, that they are womanizing scumbags who need a girlfriend, not a living blowup doll.



besides, do you think your guitar players' exes actually KNEW they were being talked aboot? wonder if they'd actually appreciate that sort of rogueish behavior if they knew it was happening...
