I dont really like chavs/scals either but some ppl cnt help their prediciment, i also dnt like snobs frm london who think they're better than every1else jus because they r lil rich boys... u also give cannabis a bad name purely becoz u get mumsy n daddy 2 buy it 4 u!!! and ur also a hypocrit coz ur the 1 givin abuse 2 ppl jus becoz they're different! I'm not a snob cheers (you'll find people most middle class people can spell properly these days). I was born in Portsmouth where I lived with my dad who is a builder, but moved to London with my mum and step-dad, who happens to work hard so that me and the rest of my family have a good life, which I am extremely grateful for.
Sorry if that offends you, do your parents not share the same sentiments? Doesn't sound like it. I still have middle class Portsmouth blood in me, I hate snobs too, especially the ones that think they are higher up then everyone else.
But then you might as well face the truth mate. Chavs are dirty little fuckers, they have no predicament to speak of, they choose to be abusive and break the law. They are a virus and nothing more. I don't hate chavs because technically i'm of a higher class then them, I hate them because they are, in fact, PRICKS!! And as you can see, everyone else knows it.

im sick of all this townie/grunger chav fighting bullshit. i wear nike hats and tracksuit bottoms so what that doesnt mean i should be classed as a mugger an abuser and a danger to society etc. you cant judge people by the way they dress thats just discrimination. i mean i dont jus wear nike i wear jeans and wear my pink floyd tshirts and whatever else but you shudnt judge a book by its cover.

Chav doesn't just mean the clothes. Being a chav is a way of behaving, and most chavs wear certain clothes (light coloured sports clothes, Reebok/Nike etc. Also tousers tucked in socks and baseball caps pointed up on top of hoods.) Wearing those clothes doesn't make you a chav but it is pretty much a chav uniform now. They have simply become associated with each other. Wearing a kilt doesn't make you Scottish but you would guess if someone was wearing a kilt they were Scottish (or maybe Breton / Irish, I don't know if the wear kilts)
