Ok, the thought came up in my head when I was high and now it's bothering me. We know tinfoil is bad to smoke with, but does anyknow know/think wrapping up a tinfoil joint would work? :joint1:

EDIT: I didn't see your reply there.

I think I know what you're saying though. You just want to have the weed burn, but have the foil to hold the weed in a tight roll like a joint.
I would say no. It might work, but you are still adding heat to the foil which still goes in your lungs.
I have heard of something called a glass blunt before though. It's the same idea. You just stuff your weed in this glass tube thing, light up, and the weed is supposed to burn down like a joint. I've never used one myself, but if that's what you're thinking, consider buying a glass chillium. They are the same idea.

Even if it did work, wouldnt it get hot faster? It seems like the heat would travel down towards where you hold it.

Oh yes, that is true. That takes me back to grade 9 science class.

So even if it did work, it would get much to hot to even hold.

Heh, I mean hey, it's worth a try I guess. I suppose it's possible, not that I think of it. You obviously couldn't inhale any of the foil (because it wouldn't burn away) but the bud could burn down inside the 'joint'.
