So Boing McBoing, what I've said all along is what you've finally realized? :If we start a war with Iran, It will involve Nukes as we cant fight a multi-million man army on their home turf. IE the beginning of the end. How fucking stupid would that Be? Talk is the answer. Talk and some meaningful concessions on our part. Of course it would be a safer world if no-one had nukes, but a few do and if we start playing the nuke card, they might join in. Russia is a big nuke country, and China also. They are both known enemys of the US. The fallout from Iranian nukes would land on China and depending on how the wind is blowing maybe Russia, do you think they wont be pissed? And that crazy guy in N. Korea, he'll just launch as many as he can just to join the party. And of course Israel will be sending nukes to every Islamic country in the area. Good god.....will they actually do it??? The US military is too far stretched in Iraq. The Iranians would cross the border and slaughter all of the Americans already in Iraq. In case you didn't know, Iran has a pretty fucking big military that could give the US a run for its money. The US sucks in ground operations. They have the air and sea as their power. If Bush does..he's making a grave mistake that will devastate the Middle East for decades to come.

Only the ignorant go to war because they can't find other solutions to their problems. The main causes of war, as has probably already been stated is religion, which has no place in government anyways, money, or expansion of ones empire. If you think that someone elses gain is worth being killed over, then I say you can have it. Personally, I'd only fight if I were being attacked unprovoked -- but then I guess not everyone has morals.
