Bat stuck in Dugout!
What to do? All I have is a dugout and a one hitter right now that I recently got back from a friend I loaned it to. I have, however, found that the bat is now stuck inside the dugout, with the lid able to close all the way. I currently do not have any other bowls at my disposal (Long story) and would rather use the one hitter than a can. How can I get the bat out?

Bat stuck in Dugout!
arg this happend to me if u put the bat in upside down and close the lid all the way it will get stuck....i just played around with it and found a way to remove the lid without breaking it or u can try sliding a safty pin in the lid and hold down the bat and then move the lid.
that is if your dugout box is anything like mine

Bat stuck in Dugout!
Terps, I will probably need more explanation as to what to do for that. The bat, was not, however put in upside down.
Higher4hockey, yes, however, I have nothing of the bat to grab a hold of with the pliers. Should it slide out a ways, however, I could grab it with them.

By the way, the dugout has a twist top, and the bat is supposed to be spring-loaded.

i know you're looking for some solution not involving destruction, but if you've exhausted options, just break the dugout, it can't be that hard, hit it with a hammer or some heavy peice of metal, break that fucker and get it out lol...

Bat stuck in Dugout!
The dugout is wood, making it a bit difficult, and yes, if possible, I would like to save both, but one or the other would be fine. The dugout being more expensive, I would prefer to keep it. I'm thinking about using a slightly large drill bit though, if that could possibly work. Has anyone had this problem before?

Bat stuck in Dugout!
Nevermind, got it. It took alot of twisting with my house key, and putting pressure in weird directions, but I did finally get the bat out, even if I did tear the tip up a little. Me and my friend have to have a talk now about taking care of the shit I loan him, when I'm doing a favor...

Bat stuck in Dugout!
Just wanted to post this tip. If it gets jammed, and is spring loaded, knock the bottom against something, and at the same time twist the lid. The bat weighs down on the spring, and will be easy to open.
